WILMA stands for the Wisconsin League of Musky Anglers. We are a Tuesday night musky fishing league based in central Wisconsin. The goals of the league are to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among members and enhance the musky fishing experience on the Wisconsin River and its flowages. This is done through our stocking efforts provided by the funding raised by the league.
Stocking Efforts:
The money raised by our league is used for musky stocking efforts in the central Wisconsin area. WILMA works with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to stock muskies fitted with PIT (Passive Integrated Transponder) tags to use in their research. In 2016 WILMA Stocked over 200 Musky yearlings in Lake Dubay. In 2014 WILMA stocked over 600 musky yearlings in a combined effort with the 12 Apostles Musky Club. In 2013 WILMA stocked 256 musky yearlings in the Wisconsin River. In 2010 WILMA donated $1000 towards the 12 Apostles Musky Club's stocking efforts.
